Tripeaks Solitaire Games
Tripeaks solitaire (often called Tri Peaks Solitaire) is the basis for a number of similar games with a common set of rules. The original Tripeaks solitaire game involves cards placed face down in the shape of three mountain peaks (hence the Tri-Peaks name). The objective of the game is to remove all the cards from the peaks, before running out of cards in the pack.
When a card is drawn from the pack, any cards one higher or lower in rank can be removed from the peak. Any cards that are no longer covered by another card are then turned face up and also considered. It takes a combination of skill and luck to win a game of Tripeaks solitaire, but it is a very easy game to learn and unusually compelling to play.
