Spider Solitaire Games
The objective of Spider Solitaire is to arrange ten stacks of cards into
columns of descending cards of matching suit in the fewest possible number of
moves. Cards can be moved between columns provided the decreasing order is
maintained. When a suit is completely ordered from King to Ace then it is
removed from the game. The game is complete when all the cards have been cleared
from the table.
The game is normally played with two packs of cards, although the difficulty
level can be reduced by using extra packs and removing some of the suits before
starting. Most of the games on this page feature varying difficulty levels to suit all players.
Scorpion Solitaire is perhaps the
most popular single deck variation on the standard Spider Solitaire game. A good
