Terrace Solitaire Games
The traditional game of Terrace Solitaire, commonly known as Queen of Italy, is a two deck solitaire game that gets its name from the 11 cards that are dealt face up in a row at the top of the board, forming the "terrace". At first glance it appears to be a slightly tricky game to get the hang of, but once over the initial learning curve it can be a very enjoyable game to play.
The standard Terrace Solitaire game is quite hard to complete as far as solitaire games go. The probability of a successful game depends greatly on the first card played, as removing the 11 cards from the terrace in order requires considerable strategic gameplay. Having said that, it is highly recommended to any experienced solitaire players, as a win at Terrace Solitaire can be very satisfying indeed.
